13-step patented process It’s the science behind Penta that makes our water ultra-pure. In fact, Penta’s filtration is so unique and removes more impurities than any other bottled water that we hold a patent by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. It’s this proprietary purification process that we have affectionately call the art of subtraction because it meticulously filters every drop of water down to its most basic form: two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen. Our science transforms naturally sourced water into an ultra-pure essential. Curious as to what our scientific process entails? Each and every bottle of Penta undergoes the following:
micron filtration pharmaceutical grade to remove volatile organic compounds and other contaminants reverse osmosis high pressure filtration to remove salt, minerals and additional impurities deionization ion exchange to filter out remaining minerals ultraviolet light to remove 99.99% of microorganisms ozonation infused with ozone, a tasteless molecule made from atmospheric oxygen, to naturally sterilize Penta’s science removes unwanted toxins and impurities without the addition of harmful additives or chemicals. Please see our water quality report for additional information.
natural pH Penta water has a naturally occurring pH meaning we never add pH altering chemicals or additives to our water. Our water’s pH is achieved over time as rain and snow percolate down high mountain peaks. The water collects underground in a natural aquifer beneath a protective seal of solid rock and clay until it is brought to the surface for bottling.
our bottles Our high-grade PET bottles, caps and labels are FDA approved for beverages and are BPA/BPS-free. In fact, the entirety of our bottle packaging is made from 100% recyclable plastic. Once you consume Penta water, you can recycle the bottle with confidence because it will soon transform into something new instead of taking up more landfill space. 100% recyclable
bottled using solar energy We proudly source and bottle Penta in Southern California. In fact, we utilize our climate’s sunny disposition to power the entire purification and bottling process at Penta. By harnessing the sun’s natural energy and transforming it into clean, green electricity, we are helping to protect our environment. Solar energy is not only sustainable, it’s the world’s most abundant renewable energy source. To date, our facility has generated enough solar energy to save over 300,000 gallons of gas and has reduced CO2 emissions by almost 3,000 tons. In nature, that’s the equivalent of planting over 70,000 trees!
